About The Role

What You'll Be Doing

As our Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert, guiding our financial strategy and providing actionable insights across the organization. You'll work directly with the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with diverse teams to:

  • Craft Financial Narratives: Develop and maintain robust models that forecast scenarios, identify resource opportunities, and manage risks for the entire NEAR ecosystem.
  • Navigate the Numbers: Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting, providing in-depth variance analysis and identifying trends to optimize performance.
  • Drive Strategic Decisions: Conduct deep dives into financial data, uncovering hidden insights that drive product development and resource allocation.
  • Empower with Data: Build real-time dashboards that visualize key metrics, enabling teams to make informed decisions and track progress against company objectives.
  • Streamline Financial Operations: Collaborate on month-end close processes, ensure data integrity, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

You're a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and a knack for translating complex financial data into actionable insights. You thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace the unique challenges of a startup setting. You have:

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting, ideally with exposure to technology or high-growth companies.
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Expert-level skills in financial modeling and data analysis tools in Google Sheets 
  • A collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.

We'd Love If You Have

  • Technical skills in SQL or API development.
  • Experience with business intelligence applications.
  • Exposure to FinTech, Web3, blockchain, or traditional financial services.
  • An MBA or relevant professional certification.

Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like

Our interviews take place via Zoom and typically consists of the following stages:

  • Recruiter Call
  • Hiring Manager Call
  • 1st Round
    • 2 Team Interviews (Finance and HR)
  • Final Round
    • 2 Team Interviews (Legal and Head of People)
    • Pagoda Values Interview

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $145,200$165,000. This reflects the minimum and maximum range across all US locations. This does not include bonus, incentives, or benefits.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: leveling, relevant skills, and work location. If you are based outside of the US, there are other geographic considerations that may impact your final compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the compensation and benefits applicable to your preferred location during the hiring process.
